They look like they are having such fun Father! Yes, they are son because they are swimming at Ballentine Pointe’s Pool. It’s opening on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at 9:00 am. Can we go, Mom & Dad? Sure but let’s see what the nice man is saying here first!
Hey mom, dad, kids, family & friends. Ballentine Pointe Community is opening its pool to residents only this Saturday, May 8th at 9:00 am, and will be open every day during the pool season from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
If you and your family like to get wet when it’s hot & humid or just hang at the pool and you live in the Ballentine Pointe Community, you better make sure you get your pool access credentials. (see below to learn how)
Pool Access & Changes for 2021 Pool Season
Pool access is now by an app on your smart device ( Apple or Android device). The board eliminated badges in 2020, now access will be granted to authorized residents and their families via a mobile app that will link you to our new system while you are onsite at the pool and you have your mobile device with you and the App opened. If you are authorized, our Bluetooth reader will verify your access and beep to unlock the gate. If you are not authorized, you will see a red light on the reader and a beep indicating “No Access”
If you are a resident who is current on all your dues and assessments or are renting your home and the property owner is current, you should receive an email from Open Path Systems with a link in the email. Open the link and download the App to your mobile device (must have Bluetooth enabled), then set it up by following the instructions provided.

We are using the email address on file with Homeside Properties as of March 31st, 2021. (if we have no email address for you or it has changed recently, you will not receive your access credentials) and will have to send us your most recent email address (only one email address per family please)- send to email@example.com.
**Some New Rules & Guidelines- (additional to existing)
As a result of the COVID-19, we have made some changes in safe pool use. Please see the changes below:
1. Pool furniture will be spaced 6′ apart, please maintain this distance from, other pool-goers.
2. COVID signs will be placed around the pool.
3. Our total pool capacity based on pool size and gallons of water and deck space is around 96 persons, we have reduced that capacity to 55 people. this includes people in the pool, on the deck around the pool, and in the restrooms. If we start to exceed that capacity will be forced to ask people to leave until we get further below the maximum (reduced) capacity of 55. 4. Piggybacking behind an authorized user to gain access to the pool will not be tolerated. Residents authorized to access the pool are responsible to assure that no one piggybacks behind them without using their access credentials. If an authorized user knowingly permits unauthorized access to the pool by one or more persons, that resident may lose their access to the pool either temporarily or for the rest of the current pool season.
** PLEASE NOTE- These new rules and guidelines do not replace existing pool rules that have been approved and already posted to the Homeside properties website. These are new guidelines and rules as an addendum as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic and changes in our access systems.
